Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam has the highest density of one-horned rhinos in the world.
Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the southern bank of the river Brahmaputra in Morigaon district in Assam and easy to reach from Guwahati the capital city (around 50 kms, 1hr 30 mins drive). It is known for conservation and protection of the Indian One-horned Rhinoceros.
